Consignment Terms

• At the moment, we do not do trades or buy-outs.
• At Opulent Habits we take extra care of all the purses we bring in and treat them as we would our own. Our goal is to earn you top dollar for your bag (within reason) as well as sell it in a timely manner (some sell in a day, some take months).
• To use the 5% bonus on commission, items must first sell to use the funds towards another item. Pieces on consignment do not count as credit towards an item with us. To hold an item while waiting for a consignment piece to sell, we require a deposit.
• Items must be sent in to be sold on consignment and are required to be with us for a 60 day minimum to ensure that we are able to market the bag as thoroughly as possible. Shipping in to the New Jersey showroom is the consignor's expense. After the 60 days is up, the consignor may request for the item to be shipped back at their own expense.
• Due to recent inventory growth, not all consignment items are used for social media or photographed for marketing purposes. All items are listed on www.opulenthabits.com and the Opulent Habits Tradesy closet for sale within a week of arriving (after condition and authenticity is confirmed).

PearlaaCloset consignment splits are determined by our provided selling quote:

Sale Price	Comission Split
$0 - $2,499	70%/30%
$2,500 - $7,499	80%/20%
$7,500 and up	85%/15%

(Please note, if an item sells via PayPal then there will be a 4% service fee taken off the top of each sale, then the split is implemented. Additionally, if PayPal's fee changes this will change then as well.)
